Angaza, meaning “shine your light” in Swahili, empowers and equips vulnerable people in Kibera, Kenya and unleashes opportunity to break the cycle of extreme poverty. Here’s how.
Holistic Mission
Poverty is not just the material aspect. Poverty affects the way of mind, emotions, and the overall person. We strive to use a holistic approach to create a positive change in all things materially, relationaly and spiritually.
Long-Term Sustainability
By encouraging the change through local community members, we’re promoting change for generations to come. We aim for young people to break out of the cycle of poverty.
Relationships
We strive to have mentors and decipleship for any programs we offer. We are focusing on being creating in God’s image and show others their worth in Christ.
Community Partnership
“Kenyans empowering Kenyans”. We believe for long-term impact to be possible we must empower local leaders to identify capabilities and vulnerabilities in their own communities.
