Woven together

Recently, we found the need for the parents of our sponsored children. Many of them are widowed, barely making it, or grandparents raising grandchildren. This is why we’ve created “Angaza: Woven Together”.

We are now in our third class of women participating in this! The group of 6-10 women sign a contract in the beginning of classes that stresses the importance of attendance and participation. Then, they learn the basics of sewing. This is coupled with Bible study and business education courses. Our desire is to sell the items they create and then send back the profits so the women can support their families.

Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
